A little about myself (but not too much!)

I started taking my art seriously a bit late in life. Left school at 16 with an 'O' level art (yes THAT long ago!) But then decided to get a 'proper' job so that I could go out with my friends and live a little.

I started my art studies at Salisbury College 5 years ago and passed my HND in Fine Art in June 2006.

It was hard work but loads of fun and I've met many new friends that have the same interests.

I love drawing and painting the figure and I'm fascinated by the colours in the human skin. In fact, I absolutely adore working with colour and experimenting with a variety of media. Oil paint is my favourite, because of the blending qualities but I find ideas buzz in and out of my head so fast that sometimes acrylic paint and its fast drying times are more suitable to my work.

I am currently sharing a studio two other artists, Gina Beauchamp and

Belinda Matthews

We call ourselves

We moved into a converted pig farm in May 2005.

The light is great and the smell is no longer apparent!
